Rooms
Rooms drawn before anything is cut: a room modelled from photographs, painted at its real colours, its built-ins drawn with their cut lists. The cabinets, beds and desks below are what those rooms are made of, each a live model.
Live modelCabinet system
A plywood cabinet built round the boxes it holds. Set each bay to a box's size and the spacing round it; the cells, the columns, the cut list and the sheet count follow. Every column is one uncut sheet, three sheets thick.

A case study: a shared bedroom painted, then built in.
Furniture and cabinets
Laptop stand
A laptop that lives on a bench with the lid shut is a heater lying face down.
Stacking drawer module
A drawer module that speaks Gridfinity: bin-base feet underneath, a baseplate on top, a baseplate inside the drawer.
Cleat cabinets
Open boxes on a French cleat — the workshop cubby everyone builds, drawn so you can change the size and count and get the cut list, the number of sheets and the height of the cleat line for your wall.
Workbench
Two base cabinets under a laminated 2x4 top, an open shelf between them, one plinth the whole length.
Loft beds & storage stair
Two built-in loft beds for a shared kids' room, with a real stair between them that holds fifteen crates in its steps.
Base cabinet
The cabinet everything else is made of: a plywood box on a toe-kick plinth, a countertop on two stretchers, a divider and shelves, a drawer on wood runners and doors on butt hinges — frameless or on a pine face frame.
Drawer box
One drawer on its own so the joint can be seen: a ½″ plywood box with the bottom in a groove, corners in any of six joints with the tails on the sides, and a groove on each side that rides a wood runner.
Cabinet door
A door two ways: a banded plywood slab, or a pine frame and panel — stiles and rails grooved on their inner edges, stub tenons into the grooves, a ¼″ panel floating in them.
Bookcase
A built-in bookcase: a tall carcase on an inset plinth, a pine face frame or a pine nosing on every shelf, adjustable shelves, a back in a rabbet, a banded cap — and a French cleat behind the top, into the studs, so it cannot tip.
Picture frame, any size
A frame printed to your picture.
Bed frames
One brief, two floating bed frames in framing lumber, each drawn live for seven mattress sizes with its own cut list and instructions.
