Machines
Machines, and the small parts that keep machines running, each a live model.
Shop tools and dust collection
Dust collection, benches, stands and jigs, grouped in one place: what a small wood and print shop runs on, each a live model.
- NEMA 17 cycloidal gearbox
A robot-joint reducer built from the shelves: a stepper, a two-disc 10:1 cycloidal, two bought bearings and M3 screws. Every printed part and every screw is on the bill of materials.
- Ground-driven seed meter
A printed plate seed meter driven by its own ground wheel through a chain, a one-way clutch, a torque limiter and a bevel pair, with interchangeable plates for twenty crops. Push frame or toolbar; every size a parameter.
Bucket-top cyclone
A tall, narrow printed cyclone on a 5-gallon bucket that takes the chips and coarse dust out of the hose before they reach the vacuum.
Bucket water scrubber
A printed water scrubber that hangs from a plain bucket lid.
Drum cyclone
A cyclone sized to catch the finest dust a shop vacuum can separate, printed in three pieces.
Sanding table and air cleaner
A rolling sanding table that is also a four-fan air cleaner.
Sealed dust-train cabinet
The cyclone, bucket vacuum and water scrubber in one sealed rolling cabinet, cooled by a box fan pulling air in through a MERV 13 filter, so the vacuum only ever breathes clean air.
Filter-cube air cleaner on a rolling shelf
A Corsi-Rosenthal cube: five MERV 13 filters make the walls and top, around a squirrel-cage furnace blower that blows the cleaned air out underneath.
Small CoreXY printer
A small, fast 3D printer built from the parts of a retired Creality printer, after the open-source Antithesis Aether MK1.1.
Gripper fingers
Custom fingers for a Robotiq 2F-85 or 2F-140 robot gripper, cut to the part you are picking.
Cast gasket mould
A mould for a 6-inch irrigation coupler gasket — the sort of seal a custom moulder will happily make for you, with a tooling charge and a minimum order of hundreds.
Machine stand
A rolling stand for a benchtop planer or jointer, cut entirely with a miter saw and a drill: two 2x4 rings, four legs standing between them, a 2x6 plank top and 1x6 boards stacked on the sides and back, with an open-front storage cubby underneath.
Router table
A rolling router table at 38 inches on the machine stand’s half-lapped 2x4 frame: a two-layer plywood top with a rabbet for a bought insert plate, a one-piece fence that pivots on a bolt at one end, and a dust box round the router.
Lumber workbench
A workbench that is also the lumber rack: sheets stand on edge in a tall slot at the back, and three open tunnels under the 38-inch top take 2x, 1x and offcuts, loaded from either end.
Desk terminal
A desk terminal for a Raspberry Pi and its 5-inch touch display, in three printed parts: a chassis that carries the board and the screen as one piece, a bezel that is the face, and a translucent shell that slides over both.
Lamps
Three table lamps after traditional types: square-section white oak for the structure, a translucent printed shade for the light.
Custom box-fan filter clips
Clips that hold a furnace filter on a box fan, printed to your fan's own measurements.

An open-source truck and tractor a simple shop can build and keep running.

Sensors and controllers for controlled-environment growing.
