Shop tools and dust collection

What the shop runs on.

The dust collection, benches, stands and fixtures this shop works with, each one a live model. Turn it over, pull it apart, and set the numbers to your own machines. They are made from stock lumber, printed parts and standard hardware, and they come apart again with ordinary tools.

Dust collection

Catch it at the machine.

A train from the tool to clean air: a cyclone drops the chips into a pail before the vacuum, a water scrubber wets what the vacuum blows out, and two air cleaners take the fine dust out of the room.

Shop tools and fixtures

Benches, stands and jigs.

The furniture a shop is built around, and the small fixtures that make one job repeatable.

Built to be copied

The numbers are sliders. Measure your machine, set them, and the parts redraw to fit; the wooden builds count their own boards and sheets in a cut list.

Made to be serviced

Explode a model to see the order it goes together. On the dust pieces, Filter removal and Fan removal show each one coming out the way you would take it out.

Everything else

Furniture, lamps and the rest are on every live model; the joints these are made with are on the library shelves.
